Are there any resources for learning how to restore old radios?
I recently came into possession of two old Philco radios- a 1939 floor model and a 1942 table-top model. I love the beautiful craftsmanship on them, and would like to try my hand at restoring them. When plugged in, both of them light up and hum loudly but that is it. Also the floor model needs a couple of knobs. Are there any books or websites that would be good for a *beginner* like me, to get me started? I think this may be a great hobby on those long winter nights.
